24th Annual Donnie Smith Bike Show & Parts Extravaganza will take place on Saturday March 26th & Sunday March 27th, 2011.This show is the largest custom-bike show in the mid-west and it only comes around only once a year. Drawing the big guns in the biker world, we believe it will be more ooooo’s and ahhhh’s then you can handle.
Just when you think it can't get any better... 2nd Annual Biker Saturday night, 5pm Happy Hour with Full Bar and live music. This is one party you don't want to miss.
Donnie Smith, a Minnesota native, is a well-respected Hall of Fame Master Builder who has influenced motorcycle design for more than thirty years. His company, Donnie Smith Custom Cycles, specializes in one-of-a-kind custom-built bikes. Donnie is known for creating his signature “Girder” front ends, which are popular on choppers of the 60’s, 70’s and today. His achievements include being inducted into the Sturgis Hall of Fame in 1995 and receiving Lifetime Achievement Awards from both Hot Bike magazine and V-Twin magazine.

Thunder Press talks about the 22nd Annual Donnie Smith Bike Show: The lobby is free to anyone passing through, and served as a teaser to the main show floor. Maybe the word “teaser” isn’t quite fair, because dozens of vendors lined the hallway, making the lobby display alone larger than some of the bike shows I’ve attended elsewhere. It was easy to spend hours in the lobby, but the genius of placing vendors there is that it makes everyone hungry for more. If people wanted to avoid the long lines for tickets—and these lengthy queues continued through most of the weekend—they could be purchased in advance through Ticketmaster. If you were smart, you’d have headed to the swap meet as soon as you got into the show, before the best bargains were gone. The swap meet was in a huge area adjoining the main exhibit hall, and it was packed with new and old parts and accessories.Read More
