Zachariah: A Head of His Time is a film from 1971 by director George Englund. It is the first Electric Western Rock movie and remains the best example of the genre. What could be better than mixing gunslinging with guitar-playing? The movie is the story of Zachariah and his friend Matthew who decide to become gunslingers and seek out established gangs and outlaws to help them in their quest. The movie featured the music and "acting" of Country Joe & the Fish, The James Gang and Elvin Jones. Zachariah's friend Matthew is played by the young Don Johnson.
