New Day Dawning ~by Sorez The Scribe

SECOND CHANCE
If I had the chance to live life over again
Still I would choose life in the wind
I would change some things that I have done
But being a biker is not one
The wind has healed my broken heart
Gave me a reason to travel on
Instilled a passion plain to see
Made me appreciate being me
The roads I have traveled graveled and paved
Thousands of miles through sunshine and rain
Lessons learned through blood sweat and tears
Have made me wiser over the years
So given the chance to live life over again
Still I would choose life in the wind

Pissing away a new used Harley
With liquor pills and cocaine
Staring downtime right in the face
What was I fucking insane
To go on down the lowdown road
Fueled by that addictive bitch whore
Those many years that I spent wasted
Enslaved by my demons for sure
So I fought and I prayed and
Tried to stay away from that
Witch who kept me down
And now the wind it keeps me sane
of That there can be no doubt
